Notes

Short Thoughts & Reading Notes

Small notes before they become big ideas.

Notes is where I save short observations, reading notes, mental models, vocabulary, market signals, AI thoughts, India-China comparisons and unfinished ideas before they become full essays or frameworks.

Not every useful idea needs to become a long article immediately. Some ideas need to be captured, revisited, connected and slowly developed.

Note Types

What goes into Notes.

01

Reading Notes

Book summaries, ideas from articles, useful concepts, quotes, author frameworks and what I want to remember.

02

Business Signals

Short observations on markets, companies, sectors, customers, distribution, regulation and strategic shifts.

03

Mental Models

Simple thinking tools for strategy, growth, decision-making, incentives, execution, power and organisational behavior.

04

Idea Fragments

Unfinished ideas on AI, India, China, economics, history, geopolitics and business that may become larger essays later.

Why Notes exist

Good thinking needs a place to compound.

Most ideas do not arrive fully formed. They start as fragments: a line from a book, a question from a client meeting, a market signal, a travel observation or a comparison between countries.

Notes is the place where those fragments are saved before they are organised into deeper work.

01
Capture before polish

Save the thought first. Refine it later.

02
Small observations matter

Many serious frameworks begin as one sharp sentence.

03
Connect across domains

Business ideas become stronger when connected with history, economics, culture and technology.

04
Build a thinking archive

Over time, short notes become a personal knowledge system.
