I write about how companies, markets and countries grow.

This is my personal archive of frameworks, essays, stories and notes on business, growth, go-to-market, China, economics, geopolitics, AI, enterprise transformation, financial services, world history and cultural nuance.

I have worked across India, China, Hong Kong, APAC and Europe. Living in China for more than five years changed how I think about scale, speed, infrastructure, execution, culture and national ambition.

Four Lenses

How I organise my thinking.

Business does not exist in isolation. It is shaped by markets, culture, technology, incentives, policy, power and history.

01

Business & Growth

How companies find markets, build distribution, win customers, create trust and turn strategy into revenue.

02

China & Asia

What living and working in China taught me about speed, scale, infrastructure, culture and execution.

03

Economics & Geopolitics

How incentives, capital, trade, technology, supply chains, policy and global competition shape business decisions.

04

AI & Transformation

How AI, automation, data and digital platforms are changing work, operating models and decision-making.

What this website is

A personal archive of work, thinking and experience.

This is not a portfolio. It is not a consulting website. It is not a place for polished corporate language.

It is a working archive of my frameworks, GTM thinking, strategy notes, business observations, China learnings, reading notes and stories from the field.

Some pieces are long essays. Some are short notes. Some are frameworks. Some are anecdotes. Some are unfinished thoughts. The common thread is curiosity.

Current Questions

Questions I keep returning to.

01

Why do some companies grow faster than others?

02

What can India learn from China without copying China?

03

How will AI change enterprise operating models?

04

Why do good strategies fail during execution?

05

How do culture and trust shape business decisions?

06

How do geopolitics, supply chains and technology change boardroom priorities?

Notes from the field

Short ideas I use often.

Strategy is not a slide deck.

A strategy becomes real only when it changes priorities, budgets, ownership, decisions and operating rhythm.

Growth is a system.

Growth is product, pricing, distribution, trust, timing, customer understanding and execution capacity working together.

Culture is a business variable.

Culture shapes negotiation, trust, decision-making, hierarchy, risk appetite and speed.

AI needs a business process.

AI creates value only when it improves a workflow, decision, risk, cost, customer experience or revenue opportunity.

This website is where I document what I am learning about business, countries, markets, technology, people and power.
